Shimbwe Trust is a non-profit organisation whose main aims are to improve the quality of life of the inhabitants of Shimbwe Ward, by relieving poverty and sickness.

The overall aim is to raise living standards and the trust contributes in order to:

• Improve the Educational Facilities

• Supply safe clean water, currently the villagers collect water from furrows.

• Improve health care facilities.

• Fundraising.

• Monitor the progress of the projects.
